LOGISTICS OPERATIONS MANAGER

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor shipment of the Electric Vehicles (EVs) from load port to disport.

​

  • Facilitate customs clearance and ensure that all documentation relating to clearing EVs is in good order.

​

  • Training of drivers and charge point operators.

​

  • Facilitate custom clearance of imported supplies, materials, and equipment as necessary.

​

  • Monitor the activities of a nominated clearing agent to clear the EVs and charging systems upon arrival in Nigeria.

​

  • Create an operational and logistics plan that will guide the activities of the EVs and charging systems to achieve an end-to-end operating model, which can be used to measure the early state of success in the venture.

​

  • Plan and oversee EVs daily route daily and emergency route, etc.,

  • Maintain, manage and schedule EVs for charging and monitor their charging levels.

​

  • Develop a monitoring routine that highlights all areas of risk contained in the fleet and charging infrastructure operational value chain for the development of lessons learned for use in the operational phase of the venture.

​

  • Prepare weekly reports on the performance of the EV’s and their charging systems and present them to Chief Executive Officer.

​

  • Take headcounts of the EVs on a daily basis and handle issues of transporting EVs back to base in the event of a breakdown or accident.

​

  • Oversee registration and renewals of EVs licenses with applicable regulatory authorities.

​

  • Develop and maintenance scheduling, spare part movement from the warehouse to the

  • vehicle repair location or from the ports to the warehouse,

​

Who You are

  • Strong verbal and written skills to support proposal writing, interaction with customers, and presentations at budgets and planning cycles;

​

  • Demonstrated understanding of the Logistics domain, including Telematics and fleet management applications.

​

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or a track record in fleet or transportation management.

​

  • Proven track record of project management and superior administrative capacity to deliver.​

​

  • Excellent people management skills.

​

  • Ability to work with minimal direction and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

​

  • Experience with intelligent inventory management and tracking.
